O Holy Night | 3 Violins (and optional piano)
Originally entitled "Cantique de Noel", this Christmas classic was written by 19th cent. french composer Charles Adam, best known for his ballet, Giselle.
* Please note that you can also find this piece included in the Holiday Bells Bundle and Holiday Volume #1
Holiday Pieces for 3 Violins, 3 Violas, and 3 Cellos
These arrangements are completely interactive between the Violin, Viola, and Cello versions - in other words, they are in the same key and the parts can be swapped out between the different instrumental types.
For many of these arrangements, the first strain is a standard, traditional rendering - one could play the opening section as a simple performance of the carol.
The string parts are composed to stand alone or, of course, played with or without piano accompaniment.
